Nokia BH-800 - The Least Unattractive Bluetooth Headset

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Anna_More]Anna More The Nokia BH-800 wireless takes advantage of the latest advancements in Bluetooth technology. While Bluetooth technology is relatively new on the scene and has been available for cell phone use for only a few years now. The term "Bluetooth" is not new at all. Its origins can be traced back to when the first telephone was invented by Alexander Bell. One story has it that it was used in the first phone call ever made and you thought the first words spoken were "can you hear me now? Legend has it that after he had finished inventing the telephone, he set it on the table and was admiring his new creation, when all of a sudden it rang. Alexander answered the call and it turns out it was his dentists office, calling to verify an appointment he had made a week earlier to have a Bluetooth looked at that had become stained after eating his favorite food, that happened to be blueberries. Bluetooth is the phrase given to a type of technology that was developed to give cell phone users complete versatility while remaining totally hands free. The Nokia BH-800 Bluetooth wireless headset is a fine example of this technology that is now on the market. It is roughly the size of a domino game piece and what is packed into this little gem is nothing short of amazing. It is worn on one ear using a comfortable clip and ear bud and is so light weight that you can easily forget that you are wearing it, in fact let me check if mine is still on. It gives you hands free access to your cell phone and a multitude of functions to use with your cell phone. One simple, easy to use button gives you complete control over of the functions. These include answering and ending phone calls, voice dialing activation, and redialing and volume control. Weighing in at a mere 0.32 ounce, the Nokia BH-800 wireless headset is a featherweight that packs a ton of features. The voice microphone picks up the voice of the person using it in the ear canal so there is no visible microphone on it. By doing this external surrounding noise is not greatly reduced or eliminated all together. You can talk while driving down the road with you window down and hear and be heard with complete clarity. No more shouting into your cell phone or straining to hear what your caller is saying. Low voltage technology combined with a lithium polymer battery combine to give an unbelievable time between charges. Fully charged it gives a full six hours of talk time and up to one-hundred-sixty hours of standby time. That is over six days of standby time on one charge. So no more running dead right in the middle of an important phone call. Don't you love it when that happens? The Nokia BH-800 Bluetooth wireless headset comes with everything you need to start talking Bluetooth. In fact your cell phone may already have Bluetooth capabilities, well most of them do. So there is nothing else to buy with the Nokia BH-800 Bluetooth headset. So unless you want to be left behind in this new technological age of wireless communications systems go check into what Nokia has to offer in this state of the art system. Are You "Shooting" Your Marketing Dollars with a Shotgun or a Rifle AND What's the Difference?

By Sandra Martini In marketing your services or widgets, what approach do you use? Do you scatter your marketing efforts over a range hoping to hit something? Or do you take careful aim, hitting the target more times than not? Shotgun Marketing Gun aficionados are going to shoot me here (no pun intended), but whenever I use the term Shotgun Marketing, I have this vision of Al Pacino blasting away in Scarface Im repeatedly told that he does not use a shotgun, but you get the idea. A shotgun shoots shells over an area with the hope that at least some of them hit the target. The word shotgun is actually defined as covering a wide range in a haphazard or ineffective manner. Examples of shotgun marketing include cold calling, bulk mailings and advertisements in large circulation general newspapers. In the online world, shotgun marketing includes banner advertising on sites that get large quantities of generic visitors and spamming emails. If you are a professional services business (virtual assistant, web designer, etc.) and havent adequately researched your prospective clients, your marketing is going to have the same ineffective scatter-type effect. You will blanket an area with postcards, direct mail campaigns, newspaper ads or online advertising without ever actually knowing if your prospects are being hit. Depending on your business, this could be good or it could be bad either way, its going to get real expensive real quick. You naturally get wider coverage using the shotgun approach to marketing this could be good if you are trying to blanket an area to let them know you exist (for example, a new coffee shop or a new mechanic in town). The downside is that its costly as studies show that you need to be in front of someone 7 10 times before they even recognize your name. Rifle Marketing I think you know where were going with this one. Rifles bring things into focus, allowing you to take careful aim before pulling the trigger. If you know your target audience, really know them, you should be able to initiate marketing campaigns with sniper-type accuracy. Rifle Marketing allows you to be more personal in your marketing campaigns. You can also devise campaigns that are made up of more than just a simple postcard or letter. For example, to symbolize how much time (or business) your potential clients are wasting (throwing away) by not hiring you, send your sales letter in a small trash can with a label on it (always send First Class). Your letter is bound to be opened more often (and more quickly) than all the other letters arriving in envelopes via Third Class mail. Innovative campaigns such as the preceding not only increase the chance that prospective clients will call you, they tell the client something about you before you even speak: you are results-oriented, you think outside the box and you think before you leap. This is the type of person that smart business owners want on their team. Which approach is better? At first glance, you may want to say that the rifle approach is better than the shotgun. However, it depends on your business, your personality and your target audience. Shotgun campaigns are, by their very nature, less personal than the rifle campaigns. This may be appropriate to your business. I generally think of shotgun marketing as creating awareness and rifle marketing as getting results. Whichever your preference, remember to keep your marketing campaign true to your personal style and that less done well is much better than more done poorly. Successful Business Marketing: The Ladder To The Top

By Ross Lincoln A Southeast Asian country is a favorite route for hurricanes. And recently was battered by one of the strongest typhoons in recent memory. Winds traveling at over a hundred kilometers per hour pummeled vehicles, houses, and buildings. These structures which are meant to shelter and protect life and property had endangered the lives of so many people during the storm. But nothing had ever been more dangerous than collapsing billboards! Yes billboards. They have been around for decades; but they only get bigger and bigger as the years go by. And they exist for one purpose only; to be a tool for effective business marketing. Indeed billboards serve their purpose commendably, though at times they are imperiling peoples liveswell, even that is good business marketing! The billboard is only one of the hundreds of successful business marketing tools. The fact is effective business marketing is essential for the success of an enterprise. As an entrepreneur, you should constantly promote yourself and your products so that consumers will know that you exist; and thus increase the chances of actual sales. Successful business marketing strategies depend on the market you are targeting and the depth of your pockets. They also come in a wide array of functions and styles. Here are the most practical and economical ones. You Are What You Give You can not afford a twenty-second airtime on your local television or radio station? Well then, make your business cards a means of pitching out your products and services. You give away your business cards to many different folks, it makes sense to put on them some more details other than your name and contact info. This way, it serves at least two purposes; your business cards promote you and your business! Just remember to keep the information short and simple. You would not want your business card turned into a brochure. Aside from it is impractical, it is downright costly. Mining The Internet Here is something to thank the geeks who figured out the Internet for. By using the Internet, you are practically embarking on a free business marketing ride. The Internet enables you to market your products and services to the world at the click of the mouse. You reach more people in a flash. Everybody Wants To Have Free Lunch Give out freebies when your customers reach a certain level of purchases. You do not spend money, you only give out more of your products or serviceswhich cost less than actually giving out cash or other valuables. The word about your freebies will spread like fire; sure enough, more customers will buy in. Get Yourself Into The Melting Pot Aggressively join bazaars and trade fairs. These venues will give you a chance to meet potential customers in your niche market. You will also be able to rub elbows with other players in your industry which could increase your business activity. Become A Preacher, A Fisher Of Men Occasionally, you should sponsor workshops, seminars and symposiums. These are excellent venues for getting the word out about your business, its products and services. There is a high probability that people who are present at your workshop will spread the topics discussed. It is an instant advertisement without the hefty price tag! You can attract all the customers you want for your enterprise only if you practice proven business marketing strategies. It all boils down to letting the world know about your products and services. And the rest, as they say, is left to fate. Ross Lincoln makes it quicker and easier for you to create profitable business ideas, develop your marketing strategy or start brainstorming on any topic. Usui Reiki Ryoho

By Eric Hartwell Reiki is a spiritual practice of channeling spiritual energy from a never-ending Universal source that brings about healing. So Reiki can be loosely defined as being spiritual energy and the word Ryoho stands for therapy, remedy, and healing, curing method. This name is the original name given to Reiki by Mikao Usui. It is also called Usui Reiki Ryoho, Reiki Ryoho or even shortened to Reiho. The story goes that Usui achieved enlightenment (satori) on the mountain Kurama Yama and he went on to use his wisdom to develop a form of healing and path for spiritual growth that was Reiki. Reiki as an art has always been passed on through the ages in the form of oral tradition from teacher to student that includes initiation and teachings to be able to receive and transmit the spiritual universal energy, share love and compassion to bring about healing and harmony. Usui Reiki Ryoho is taught at 3 levels: The beginning level is called Shoden which teaches the student to access the Universal energy for themselves as a method of self-healing.
The second level is the level of Attunement called Okuden which increases the power and versatility and is for directing the flow of that energy and healing others. Here the initiate is introduced to three of the four sacred symbols of Reiki namely Cho Ku Ray, Sei He Ki and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen.
Shinpiden is the teacher level and it empowers the initiate with the knowledge of the fourth symbol of Reiki called Dai Ko Myo and the student now can initiate others to the practice of this healing tradition called Reiki. In Dr. Usui Senseis words, Reiki Ryoho is a spiritual healing technique and an energy healing technique. This spiritual healing takes place when ones energies are in perfect tune with the Universal Consciousness which brings about wellness and relief from pain and disturbances in the energies of the mind, body and spirit. Reiki Ryoho is an expression of Universal Love, a form of love that is Universal and Unconditional Love expands over all life and attunes with Divine Love. Reiki Ryoho also raises the vibrations of the mind, body and spirit to perfectly resonate in sync with the vibrations of the Divine thus promoting Harmony and Peace not just on a personal level but also to all whose lives come in contact with ours and in effect manifests on a global level. It is a self-help natural technique that can be safely used and can be synchronized with any other form of healing that brings about personal growth and transformation on all levels. An important thing to note that Usui Reiki Ryoho cant be taught by everybody, there are many Reiki schools but Usui Reiki Ryoho is a specialized branch that requires specialized training in order to teach it.
Lastly, Dr. Usui used the following words to sum up the principles of Reiki: Just for today, do not worry. Just for today, do not anger. Honor your parents, teachers and elders. Earn your living honestly. Show gratitude to every living thing. Read opinions and promote your views at The World's Best Homepage and read and submit reviews and opinions at Free Opinions and Content - improve yourself with Reiki Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Eric_Hartwell http://EzineArticles.com/?Usui-Reiki-Ryoho&id=472387 personal loans no credit check

Is Lake View One Of Your Riparian Rights?

By Maria Keeney In short, yes. Lake view is one of your riparian rights. If you own lakeshore property, you are afforded the following riparian rights (also called littoral rights) according to the Public Trust Doctrine. 1. Access (right of swimming, boating, fishing, etc.)
2. Navigability (right of access to a point of navigability)
3. Right to erect structures (right to erect docks and boat lifts, etc.)
4. Water use (right to use water for domestic purpose)
5. Accretions (right to land obtained by water level fluctuation)
6. View (right to view and right to preservation of view) There are many ways your right to lake view might be infringed upon. Here are a few scenarios: Pretend you just bought a beautiful lake home with a gorgeous view of the lake. You continue to enjoy this view undisturbed for the next few years. Until one day a neighbor builds a large three story home closer to the shoreline which results in your lake view being severely diminished. You may have purchased a lake home in the winter time. When spring arrives, your adjacent neighbor places their dock and boat lift so that it extends in front of your home and not theirs, obstructing your view as well as your access. Maybe an adjacent neighbor remodels their boat house by the lake making it a double story boat house, which in turn obstructs your view of the lake. Or a tall fence is erected along the property line, which results in your inability to enjoy the same view of the lake you once did. You could also quite possibly have a case for the riparian loss of right to view when you dont even own lakeshore. There was a case that involved ocean views in Florida whereby a condo owner that did not even own lakeshore sued a developer who built a structure directly in front of the condo owners view of the ocean. The condo owner lost his entire view of the ocean but recovered damages in a court of law. The above scenarios may or may not be serious infringements. It most often depends on the characteristics of your lot. Many people just dismiss the loss of a lake view as the cost of development, but others see it as an infringement on their riparian rights.
If your lake view has been diminished in some way, you will be glad to know that there are remedies. First, check with your local city or county to determine if there are any ordinances that are being violated. If so, the activity causing the infringement on your riparian right may be stopped. Second, you may be able to communicate with the neighbor who is infringing on your views and ask them to modify their plans. Keep in mind that attempts to resolve these types of disputes with neighbors rarely works because the neighbor has probably already contemplated your loss of lake view during the planning phase and determined they would go ahead anyway. So make sure you keep your communication as non-confrontational as possible to avoid damaging your friendship as well. It is a cheap alternative and one that might work. You are also letting your neighbor know that you oppose his/her actions. The last remedy you can try is to take them to court. Be aware that the law is not clear on decisions regarding the riparian right to view. This is intentional because every situation must be handled uniquely. The nature of shorelines, water level fluctuations, amount of land relative to adjacent owners, what is "reasonable use", etc could all have impacts on whether the court decides in your favor. Of course, if you have an obvious inequity you stand a better chance in a court of law, but as in all court cases you cannot predict the outcome with any certainty. That said, if you feel that your riparian rights have been infringed upon and have tried other alternatives for remedy to no avail, you can always ask a court of law to decide whether or not monetary or injunctive relief should be granted in your favor. Good luck and enjoy your lake view! Building A Niche Is A Cinch

By Scot Standke Believe it or not, a lot of companies - both small and big - create their marketing program towards a specific audience. This niche audience is carefully selected and pinpointed to market segments to specifically maximize the programs effectiveness. Take for instance one company called HP or Hewlett Packard. This particular company markets and sells machines that are able to do everything, from scanning to faxing, printing, etc. The target of this company are those home offices as well as much larger companies and businesses. For this market, their products are those whose price range are a bit higher. The fact of the matter is that a marketing specified to a particular niche market is very cost-effective. Think about it, offering a service or a product to a selected group of people in a specific area almost certainly certifies it being bought. Advertising on the radio for a specific ethnic audience whose rates are a lot lower compared to mainstream radio programs is better. Your budget for marketing significantly could go far, making you able to get more advertisements a lot more frequently or combine a comprehensive mix of media. Building a niche is actually a risk that could allow you to make your business grow. These rules help you achieve just that. Make sure your niche meets very unique and original needs Benefits that you offer must have an appeal that is special to your specific niche. These benefits must be compelling and new. The needs of your audience must be identified by you, then tailor these to the service or product you are to sell. Consider all variations your service or product could offer. For instance, marketing and selling soap has significantly changed. But if for example you were able to sell a soap that is able to remove the chemical chlorine from the hair of swimmers, that is a very unique market, as well as a compelling one. Your niche could be your neighbors who have their own swimming pools and even the Olympic swimming team. Speak the niche language Saying something is a whole lot different from saying the appropriate thing. It is always best to understand the specific language as spoken by the niche you intend to penetrate. Their hot buttons should be known to you and communicate with your niche pressing these buttons. Doing this ensures that the way you communicate is via being one with them and not as an outsider. Test your market First things first though, it is a wise business decision to assess the competitors that are currently in the niche you want to penetrate. Doing so eventually helps you to determine just how it is you could position yourself against their product. Looking at your competitors web sites as well as brochures is a good way to have an idea on what they use as selling points, delivery, pricing as well as other services or offers. But if there is no competitor existing, what would you do? This is really not a very good sign. Though it could mean that no one has thought of what you have thought of, it could also be possible that no company has been able to penetrate that specific niche. All in all, creating a niche is easy as long as you are willing to exert the necessary effort to build it. Scot Standke has worked with many individuals in niche marketing & specializes in helping entrepreneurs build wealth & gain access to new niche markets through ecommerce & internet marketing.
